About The Program
Launch Your Global Career
Global Business Leaders is a selective cohort program for Orfalea College of Business students who want to develop leadership skills early, gain global business perspective and build a powerful professional foundation before applying for internships.
Students travel together to Seville, Spain in Spring 2027 through Cal Poly’s First Year GO! (Global Opportunities) program and, upon return, enroll in a specialized cohort section of BUS 2206: Career Readiness II, designed exclusively for global business leaders. This experience integrates global learning, leadership development and career preparation into one intentional pathway.

Leadership Coaching & Advising
Global Business Leaders students receive targeted coaching from advising staff, who will help students synthesize their international experience into transferable career competencies. Students will learn how to confidently communicate these skills to employers.
