4th year Business Major, Accounting Concentration
One of my favorite things about being a Career Peer is the opportunity to interact and connect with so many different people. It's allowed me to expand my network while giving back to a college community that I truly enjoy being part of. Professionally, I’ve interned with Deloitte Tax and will be joining their San Francisco office full-time after graduation, while also pursuing my CPA license. In my free time, I love reading, traveling, and cafe hopping!
4th year Business Major, Finance Concentration
My favourite thing about being a career peer is helping other students and getting to interact with other career peers! My favourite types of appointments are mock interviews and helping students in that regard. I've previously interned at CoBank, working in credit, and will be working at Capital One in a Commercial Banking Rotational Program post-grad. I really like hiking, eating new foods, and trying new things!
4th year Business Major, Quantitative Analysis Concentration
My favorite type of appointment is a resume review because I enjoy learning about each student's unique path and experiences. Last summer, I interned at Mckinsey and will be joining full time in the SF office. But long term, I want to start an interior design business. Outside of work my favorite activity is thrifting!
4th year Business Major, Accounting Concentration
My favorite thing about being a Career Peer is getting to meet so many incredible people every shift and hearing about their stories on why they want to pursue the career path they are on! After graduating, I hope to pursue the CPA as soon as possible so I don’t have to think about it. Most important to me is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My favorite hobbies are going on runs and eating ramen!
4th year Business Major, Finance Concentration
I enjoy helping students create attainable plans for their internship or job search, especially because I remember how overwhelming the process felt when I first came to Cal Poly. It's rewarding to make it feel more manageable for others. Looking ahead, I hope to work in Corporate Finance, either for a tech or financial company in the Bay Area or for the Walt Disney Company. Outside of academics and career goals, I love spending time outdoors, and this summer I started playing golf—it's been a fun and relaxing way to enjoy time outside with friends.
4th year Business Major, Finance Concentration
My favorite part about being a Career Peer is making a real impact on students and seeing that “light bulb” moment when things click. I especially enjoy career exploration and networking appointments because I love helping students discover what they’re passionate about and giving them the tools to pursue it. This past summer, I worked at a boutique consumer M&A investment bank in San Francisco called North Point, and I’m currently exploring full-time opportunities in investment banking. Outside of work, I love going to the beach, backpacking, skiing, and taking trips to Big Sur. A fun fact about me is that I have an identical twin brother!
3rd year Business Major, Information System Concentration
My favorite part about being a Career Peer is how fulfilling it is to help students land internships and achieve their professional goals. This year, I’ll be interning as a Management Consulting Intern at PwC’s San Francisco office. Outside of work and school, I love watching TV shows and making sure I get my 10k steps in every day!
3rd year Business Major, Human Resources & Management Concentration
I love sharing resources and unconventional opportunities with students, and one of my favorite parts of being a career peer is empowering them to feel confident and effectively communicate their strengths. I'm passionate about exploring the HR field across different sectors and making a meaningful impact through career development. Outside of work, I perform under the drag name Moxi May, play the đàn tranh (a traditional Vietnamese string instrument), and have a soft spot for sloths—they're my favorite animal!
3rd year ITP Major, Information Technology Concentration
I love being a career peer and helping support students with business etiquette and soft skills needed to land a job or internship. Last summer I interned with Goldman Sachs in Newport Beach as an Executive Wealth Summer Analyst. Next summer I will be interning for Apple in Cupertino as a Finance Development Program (FDP) Intern. In the future I hope to pivot to design engineering. Outside the office, I love to run and play pickup sports with my friends!
3rd year Business Major, Finance Concentration
I enjoy assisting students through many career paths, especially students looking to break into the world of finance. On campus, I am involved in Cal Poly FMA, Cal Poly Investment Banking, and helped launch 805 Capital Management. After my 1st year at Cal Poly, I interned at RW Baird on their Private Wealth Management team, and then after my 2nd year, BlackRock's Global Product Solutions team. Outside of the office I enjoy running, playing basketball/tennis/golf, and spending time with my friends.
2nd year Business Major, Accounting Concentration
My favorite type of appointments are mock behavioral interviews—I really enjoy getting to know students better and brainstorming unique answers to interview questions together. This summer, I’m planning to intern at PwC through their JBN tax internship, and in the future, I hope to work in Japan. In my free time, I love cooking, scrapbooking, and creating press-on nails.
4th year Business Major, Marketing Concentration
My favorite part of being a career peer is getting to interact with so many different people from the College of Business—it's fascinating to see how diverse everyone's backgrounds are. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in brand marketing. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog and doing the New York Times mini games every day.
