Earn a Cal Poly Business Degree at Allan Hancock College
The Cal Poly 2+2 Business Program at Allan Hancock College is an opportunity for students to transfer in place and earn a Cal Poly Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a management and human resources (MHR) concentration without commuting to San Luis Obispo.
About the Program
The Cal Poly Business – MHR program prepares students to become practicing professionals in functional roles related to recruitment, staffing, training and development and compensation. Across the BS curriculum, emphasis is placed on helping students develop four key competencies critical for transformational business leaders: leveraging people skills, cultivating inclusive and equitable workplaces, navigating uncertainty and solving problems with data.

Step 3
If admitted, 2+2 students take two academic years of Cal Poly business and upper division general education courses at Allan Hancock College.
The Cal Poly at Hancock program will follow the Cal Poly academic calendar. The program is designed in a cohort style, so you move through the curriculum with the same group of peers while experiencing Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing approach. Courses are scheduled with working professionals and busy students in mind, making it possible to balance school with other responsibilities.
