Dr. Ndackyssa Oyima-Antseleve is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Orfalea College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management, where he also earned a Master of Science in Finance. He holds dual undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.
Dr. Oyima-Antseleve’s research interests are focused on the intersection of finance and technology. Currently, his work particularly emphasizes the areas of cyber risk and blockchain technology. His recent research investigates the complex challenges and risks that arise from the rapid development of digital innovations. He is dedicated to developing advanced risk management and corporate governance strategies. His work has been showcased at prestigious conferences, including the American Finance Association (AFA), Southwestern Finance Association (SWFA), Chicago Rising Scholars, and the University of Texas at Dallas workshops.
In the classroom, Dr. Oyima-Antseleve is committed to nurturing a profound understanding of finance in his students. He has taught a range of courses, including Investment Management, Intermediate Financial Management, Personal Finance, and Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, all reflecting his dedication to academic excellence.
Dr. Oyima-Antseleve believes strongly in the transformative potential of finance to improve lives. His research not only aims to contribute significantly to academic scholarship but also to drive impactful changes in professional practice and society at large.
