Dr. Yongcheng Zhan is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Orfalea College of Business. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona in 2019.

With expertise in database design, text mining, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, Yongcheng combines research and teaching to explore the intersection of technology and education. His research focuses on developing innovative applications of AI and data analytics to address real-world challenges, including healthcare, education, and business process optimization.

Yongcheng teaches courses on management information systems, database systems in business, and text mining, emphasizing hands-on learning and practical application.

Beyond teaching and research, Yongcheng is an active contributor to the academic community, serving as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences. He is also dedicated to mentoring students, fostering their academic growth, and preparing them for successful careers in the ever-evolving field of information systems.
