The Orfalea College of Business supports student use of laptops in and around the building. Please note that a well-functioning and mobile computer is an important tool for academic success. Below, you will find a general set of minimum specifications for a computer that should last your four years at Cal Poly:

Minimum Recommended Computer Specifications:

Storage: 512GB (minimum) or 1TB (recommended)
RAM: 16GB
Processor: Intel i7 or Apple M1 (M2 common) or better
Graphics: 1920×1080 resolution or better
