MBP Conference

Students on stage at MBP conference

The Matter Belong Persist Conference is a one-day conference held by the Multicultural Business Program that focuses on preparing emerging leaders for the opportunities and challenges that they will face in their careers.

Our 2025 MBP Conference themed Inclusion Starts with Authenticity, featured four professional business guest speakers and multiple companies, giving students the opportunity to network and develop their skills as future business leaders.

Corporate Tours

The Multicultural Business Program organizes a field trip for its BUS 206 students to network with industry professionals and get first-hand knowledge about the day-to-day responsibilities. The general MBP community (students not in cohort) are invited to join when seats are available. Please contact the program coordinator to get on the waitlist.

Our 2024 MBP Cohort traveled to the Bay area, where they toured two companies and gained valuable career readiness insights through professional alumni panels and guided company tours.

MBP Center Events and Workshops

The Multicultural Business Program hosts events and workshops throughout the year to help students build community, develop professionally and connect with industry professionals. These gatherings provide valuable opportunities for employers to engage with all our students, including students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, fostering meaningful connections and potential recruiting relationships.
