Packaging Technology

Cal Poly’s packaging technology program teaches students about value chain, utilizing elements of engineering, food science, graphic design and business.

The packaging curriculum includes courses on product design and development, graphic design, and marketing. Students here are involved in collaborative, project-based classes that help them develop a strong foundation in the science and liberal arts, business and management disciplines, as well as extensive hands-on course work in industrial operations and packaging.
