Bingyi (Nicole) Wu

Bingyi Wu received her Ph.D. in information systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2024. Her research examines the organizational and economic implications of emerging digital technologies, with a particular focus on human-AI collaboration, social media platforms, and blockchain-based ecosystems. Through her work, she seeks to understand how digital technologies reshape individual behavior, organizational practices, platform governance, and value creation in contemporary business environments.

Her research has been presented at leading information systems conferences, including the International Conference on Information Systems, Americas Conference on Information Systems, Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, among others. Her work has also been published in respected journal outlets such as Information & Management.

Wu’s teaching interests include database practices for business, Python programming, and agentic AI systems development. Prior to entering academia, Wu worked as a digital market analyst, collaborating with global firms such as Comcast and Unilever to develop content management and digital marketing strategies.
