The external facing group of OCOB, the Student Ambassadors promote the College of Business through a variety of ways. The Ambassadors are responsible for giving tours for the college to prospective students and their supporters, as well as industry professionals interested. They also go on outreach trips out of the state to locations like New York City & Austin, Texas – this allows the Ambassadors to gain insights about companies outside of California and what their careers might look like, as well as to bring back job and internship opportunities to students in SLO.
Ambassadors lead by example, promoting values of inclusivity and transparency throughout the establishment. As a result, guests are provided a unique glimpse into a genuine Orfalea College of Business experience that is relatable to a diverse group of visitors.
