Vinicios P. Sant’Anna

Dr. Sant'Anna is an assistant professor of Real Estate Finance at the Orfalea College of Business. His research focuses on housing and real estate finance, urban-spatial economics, international trade, and empirical corporate finance. His latest research explores the intricate consequences of economic integration through migration, trade, and capital markets on real estate markets, neighborhood dynamics, residential segregation, firms, and the financial sector.

Before joining Cal Poly, Dr. Sant'Anna was a postdoctoral 1ssociate at the MIT Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics Lab. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.Sc. in Applied Economics and B.Sc. in Economics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
